Veterinary Associate – Growing mixed animal practice, brand new facility in beautiful south-central Kansas

A growing, single-doctor, mixed animal veterinary hospital in the beautiful Gypsum Hills of south central Kansas invites you to apply for the position of full-time Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Associate.
THE PRACTICE
Redland Veterinary Hospital has been providing comprehensive, high-quality veterinary care with an emphasis on exceptional client service and patient care in the south-central Kansas area since 2011. We have a newly constructed facility, completed February 2017, featuring in-house chemistry, hematology & radiology services, as well as reproductive and carcass ultrasound services. Our well-designed large animal facility has an indoor, heated working facility with a hydraulic chute. The majority of our practice is cow-calf related, but we also serve equine and companion animal clients. We foresee continued growth in all areas of our practice.
THE POSITION
You belong on our team if you have a friendly, positive attitude, along with the desire to provide quality, mixed animal health services in a rural setting. A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, is required. Candidate should be licensed in Kansas and have experience or interest in both companion and food animal health care. This position offers the unusual benefit of working Monday through Friday. Our small but growing practice has a caring and competent team and a low stress environment.

We will be hiring a second veterinarian in 2018, and foresee continued growth in all areas of our practice.
THE POSITION

Possessing an attention to detail, a caring nature, and a willingness to continuously learn is an absolute must! Candidate should be licensed in Kansas and have experience or interest in pet dentistry and both companion and food animal health care. Duties will include, but are not restricted to, surgical prep, general nursing, assisting, radiography, dentistry, triage, and shared emergency call.
